Join The Diamond Academy of Performing Arts as we bring the darkly delicious world of The Addams Family – Young@Part to life! This fully-staged production features spectacular costumes, professional lighting, and graveyard-smash choreography. It’s a heartwarming (and hilarious) story about family, honesty, and what it truly means to be "normal."
Step into iconic roles—Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester, and Grandma! At the end of the term, we will perform our 30-35 minute musical for our January Showcase.
Program Highlights:
Acting and Performance Skills: Students learn character development through the unique lens of the Addams’ eccentric personalities, building stage presence and comedic timing.
Singing and Dancing: From tango to show-stopping ensemble numbers, our program includes vocal training and choreography tailored to this Broadway hit.
Creative Expression: We encourage children to explore physicalization and storytelling, finding the "weird and wonderful" in their own creative voices.
Teamwork and Friendship: Students collaborate in a supportive environment, fostering communication and lasting bonds with their "ancestors" on stage.
Professional Guidance: Experienced instructors provide personalized attention to ensure every student feels confident for opening night.

**We added extra rehearsal dates to illustrate the maximum commitment for extra rehearsals in case we need them. Each ensemble is different and we want to ensure we set them up for success!
MANDATORY TECH DATES & SHOW DATES Please ensure your child’s schedule is clear for these dates to ensure a successful production. We try and be accomodating for busy schedules but ask that the the tech week and shows that theater is the prioroity. There is a lot of work that is done in the lead up to the stage production and attendance is needed for a successful production. We appreciate your partenership on this.

(Includes costume(s), props, and set rental. Does not include base layers/shoes and sometimes regular clothing that students already own).
