About Us

Mastering the art of public speaking is the greatest single skill you can develop in order to establish strong leadership skills, boost future earning potential and carry yourself confidently and successfully in life.

Modern society demands effective communication and leadership skills to excel, however it presents few opportunities for children to develop these critical life skills.

The Diamond Academy represents a new way of thinking: an innovative studio for learning, where students can explore and develop their communication, performance and leadership skills in a fun and dynamic setting. At our academy, your child will learn skills that will remain with them throughout their lives.

We provide a positive and encouraging learning environment that allows our students to shine.

How We Teach

The Diamond Academy utilizes time-honored traditions of Speech Arts and Drama techniques as a means of developing effective communication, performance and leadership skills; skills which are aimed at teaching our young students to become engaging and articulate speakers, citizens, performers and leaders.

Our group classes are structured to educate through improvisation technique, voice development, and text analyzation and performance in a positive and encouraging setting where students engage with, and learn from, their fellow students as well as perform solo pieces. Students are exposed to and will explore literature from the great writers, poets and playwrights from the English Literature Canon.

At the end of each term, each student will perform selections from the repertoire they have created.

Through our classroom development, recitals, plays, Trinity College of London examination opportunities, and international festivals, each Diamond Academy Student will have many avenues to utilize and develop their unique voice in the world.

By agreeing to private lessons you have reserved that time and are agreeing to pay for your time slot whether you attend class or not. You are allowed one absence per term in which you can schedule a make up for. Zoom sessions can be available for when you are sick.

No prorating, credit, transfers or provisions are made for absences.  If a child registers for a monthly payment class mid-month, tuition will be prorated for that first month only and only for our monthly payment classes offered. If The Diamond Academy of Performing Arts needs to cancel a class for some unforeseen circumstance, credits will be issued.

If you want to drop from one of our monthly payment classes you must do so before the 15th of the month in writing or via email to stop the following month's tuition from being withdrawn. Failure to do so will result in the following month's tuition being charged.

If you would like to cancel your private lessons you must do so before the 15th of the month. By doing so, you will not be charged for the following month. If you cancel after the 15th of the month, you will be charged for the following month and cancellation will begin the next month.
